It gives us great pleasure to announce the 2019 NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet Awardees. Upon the recommendation of the Awards Committee several things are considered including years of service impact, leadership and character.·

The committee will formally present the awards during our 74th Annual Marjorie D. Wickliffe Freedom Fund Banquet to be held at Link’s Wonderland, 1711 E. Creighton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46803, Thursday, September 12, 2019, at 6:00 PM, our theme this year is “A 2020 Vision for the Future.”

Our illustrious keynote speaker is the dynamic Richard G. Womack Sr, former NAACP Board member for over 20 years advocating for the federal public policy issue agenda of the oldest, largest, and most widely recognized civil rights organization in the United States to the U.S. Government.Kaitor Kay, Multimedia Journalist WANE TV will Emcee, Charles Lopez – Digital Minds Quartet RB, Jazz and Gospel and Angela SunToucher Patterson, will provide the entertainment with Poetry/Spoken Word. Angela will en the night with a book signing..NAACP will showcase our programs, services, volunteers, and honorees. Please mark this date (Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 6:00 PM) on your calendar.
